GAYLE ISELE (WINCHELL): ranked art and clothing; participated in the Art Society, the Tri-Hi-Y, the Girls and the Mixed Choruses; was married before graduation would continue work.
GLORIA JAMES: “Bunny” selected typing and office machines classes as favorites; liked to go horseback riding and to go bowling; future plans included marriage.
MARY JIMOPOULOS (HERR): said that shorthand, typing, and secretarial practice were the most interesting subjects; became a member of the Mixed Chorus, Choralettes, the Bible Club, the Pep Club, and the Tri- Hi-Y; was married before graduation.
GLEN JOHNSON (Deceased): rated physical education and Senior Math as favorite subjects; enjoyed working on cars in leisure time; planned to enlist in the Navy upon graduation.
NANCY JOHNSON: enjoyed United States history and English; for recreation liked swimming and dancing; belonged to the Mixed Chorus, the Girls’ Chorus, the Pep Club, and the Tri-Hi-Y; future plans included marriage.
PAUL JOHNSON: enjoyed the course in Co-operative Occupational Education; left school at the end of the first semester to enlist in the Armed Services.
TERRY JOHNSON: preferred physics and Trig above all other subjects; enjoyed participating in all sports; was a member of the Hi-Y; acted as Advertising Manager of the Saga; would major in engineering at the Missouri School of Mines.
RITA JOLLY (Deceased): rated the course in Co-operative Education; was a member of that organization; had to drop out of school because of illness.
GARY JONES: preferred Senior Math; physical education and swimming; enjoyed cooking in free time; hoped to become a chef.
JEAN JOVANOVIC: rated typing as favorite subject; was a member at Saga and Co-operative Occupational Education; future plans undecided.
JERRY JUENGER: enjoyed bookkeeping and music; liked to play tennis and basketball; belonged to Mixed Chorus, Boys’ Chorus, Hi-Y, and Letterman’s Club; plans included college.
JOYCE KAUFMANN: favored Senior Math and shorthand; enjoyed sewing in leisure time; participated in Bible Club and Tri-Hi-Y; future plans included marriage.
JOE KIEFER (Deceased): ranked Co-operative Occupational Education and government; worked on cars in spare time; was a member of Co-operative Occupational Education; wanted to be a diesel mechanic.
CHARLES KIEFNER: “Chas” preferred Math and economic geography; collected stamps and coins; sang in Mixed Chorus; would enlist in service and later attend St. Louis University.
JOHN KLOEPPER: “Klop” elected mechanical and architectural drawing; built models in leisure time; belonged to Hi-Y, Mixed Chorus, Football, and Track; would enroll in the Missouri School of Mines.
GARY KNAMILLER: “Kna” selected English Literature and physics; participated in Hi-Y, Boys’ Chorus, Letterman’s Club, Varsity Sports, and Honor Society; was President of Student Council and Hi-Y, Co-Captain of Baseball; planned to attend college.
RICHARD KNARR: favored algebra and contemporary problems; liked working on cars and going hunting; was a member of Archery and Mixed Chorus; would attend the University of Missouri.
MARY KOESTER (Deceased): rated contemporary problems and Senior Homemaking as favorite subjects; enjoyed all sports especially tennis and swimming; wanted to become a bookkeeper.
MARY ELLEN KRABLIN: ranked chemistry and typing as favorites; was a member of Orchestra, Bible Club, Mixed Chorus, Girls’ Chorus, and Tri-Hi-Y; would go into Nurse’s Training at St. Luke’s School of Nursing.
DAVID KRAMER: rated Math and bookkeeping as “tops”; liked hunting and all sports; was on the track team; would enlist in the Army upon graduation.
JOHN KRAUSE: favored auto mechanics and metal shop; enjoyed working an cars in spare time; hoped to become an auto mechanic.
DONALD KUESSNER: “Don” preferred art; worked on cars in leisure time; planned to enlist in the Army.
WALTER KUGLER: favored Gym, swim, and woodworking; built model airplanes; would enlist in a branch of the Armed Services.
CAROLYN LABBEE: rated secretarial practice; enjoyed skating and swimming; was a member of the Pep Club; would enroll in Olivet College.
CAROL LAGARCE: liked typing and physical education; played all sports especially volleyball, basketball, and softball; was undecided about future plans.

ELEANOR LANGREBE: rated Math and bookkeeping; liked to go swimming; would attend Rubicam Business College.
CAROLE LAUCK: ranked art, English, and clothing; drew in spare time; was a member of Orchesis and Senior Tri-Hi-Y; would study art at Washington University.
EDWARD LEASCK: “Eddie” liked history best of all; participated in Hi-Y and the Varsity Swimming Team; was vice- president at the Student Council; planned to attend Washington University.
ROBERT LEDBETTER (Deceased): “Bob” enjoyed geometry most of all; worked on cars in leisure time; belonged to the Bible Club and Co-operative Occupational Education; wanted to enlist in the Navy.
NORMA LEEDS: preferred typing and shorthand; liked to knit and sew as a hobby; took part in Co-operative Occupational Education; future plans included marriage.
RAY LENZ (Deceased): enjoyed chemistry, biology, and physics; graduated in January and went to work.
BARBARA LLOYD: favored history; went swimming and dancing; was a member of the Senior Tri-Hi-Y and the Mixed Chorus; wanted to become a beauty operator.
GERALD LUDWIG: ranked English Literature and mechanical drawing; liked participating in all kinds of sports; wanted to attend Southeast Missouri State College.
SALLY LUTERAN: liked typing best of all; collected china mice; would do clerical work after graduation.
